Excellent Temperature Probe but…

I bought this dual probe a month ago to use on a bbq turkey for Thanksgiving . It was great EXCEPT for one issue which prevented a 5-Star rating. The ambient temperature is not even close to being accurate so be sure not to base any cooking decisions on this temperature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works well and easy to use. The first time was used on a pork loin on the “smart” setting. It told me when to remove from the oven and rest to achieve the desired temperature. It was cooked perfectly.

I splurged on this thermometer… I love that it’s connected to my phone and it also dings on my iwatch…. Can’t wait to use it for the holidays this year.

The ease of use, accuracy and build. It be used a stand alone or you can get all the nerd data on the app. Blue tooth and wifi unreal. I also bought one my for my cousin .

Absolutely foolproof!

I've been using digital thermometers with the wired sensors for decades. The Typhur Sync Dual is the first completely wireless system I've ever used, and I couldn't be any happier with it! It took all of 1 minute to connect the Sync to my wi-fi network (and most of that time was spent editing my router's access control to allow the Sync to connect). The instructions are super easy to follow and the app itself it ridiculously intuitive when grilling. I'm impressed, too, with the battery life on the probes. Even after being on the grill for a couple of hours, there was still over half the battery life remaining in both probes. We'll see how the battery life holds up over time, but for now I would not be the least bit concerned about doing a slow smoking job for several hours. The Sync makes everything so simple. So incredibly simple! Easy to use, intuitive app/tool design, wi-fi capability is a godsend, and the Sync looks sharp to boot! Typhur absolutely hit it out of the park with the Sync!

I have meateors and tempspikes . Was tired of the disconnects and horribly buggy software they use. I will say im genuinely impressed with the typhurs. Much better quality hardware and so far the software seems perfect with zero disconnects! I use the wireless and remote monitoring alot. Thanks Typhur, i just ordered another set for a friend.
