Pretty cool, great idea. My one grip is about charging the base and (I guess) the two probes. Like a lot of products these days the instruction manual is useless. Between the app on my phone and the base unit, there really should be a progress bar on the charging. I've had it plugged in for hours and have no idea if it is fully charged or how long until it's ready. Missed today's roast entirely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dual works great for monitoring two things that need to be coordinated or just standard cooking temperature testing. I used it to cook turkey white meat and dark meat to two different temperatures, but targeting the same serving time. Worked perfectly for monitoring. The smart targeting allowed me to adjust cooking temps and in oven times to manage it.

Honestly, I’ve never been happier with a temp probe as with my Typhur, which I bought s as a gift for my spouse. The wireless via WiFi and the estimated time to finish are both game changers

I used this during Thanksgiving and it worked excellent. I cut up my turkey to cook it so this was the perfect tool to cook my turkey, and it's parts, at just the right temperature. It made things a lot easier. I've since used it for fish, steak, and of course, chicken, and it has not let me down at all. I highly recommend this product.
