Tri tip and turkey

Did my favourite tri tip recipe and that dude can cook one hour turkey loved all the info that the Typhur give while using it. Going to be my favourite tool for bbqing

FIRST USE

I was super excited to get my Typhur. I went to set it up and while I clicked yes to English, it went to French. Had to reset it to get back to the home page to reset it to English.
I just used it for the first time on a small roast. I set it up. I then went in the other room and opened the app. But while I had previously synced the device to the app, it was no longer synced. Fully charged. No reason for it not to sync. But it did not.
Since I was in the other room, and unable to sync, the device was in the kitchen. When it hit the desired temp, there were no alarm bells or whistles. I literally had to go to the kitchen, where I say it said it had reached the desired temp and then went into a different mode - meaning no longer displaying the actual temperature.
As I let tented the meat and let it rest, I am not sure if the device really hit the mark of 140 - rare. When I did cut into it, it was a bit over medium, but could be due to the tenting.
Jury is still out - so far, suspicious start.

Hi everyone, I got this as a gift from my family. I used it to monitor the temp of my turkey for thanksgiving, this unit so far has been second to none. I own just about every tyoe of thermal probes available and be far this setup takes the cake on so many levels, my turkey came out perfect, not only in a shorter amount of time but knowing that food is cooked to the proper temp keeps everyone safe. I really would like to give all these guys at typur a high five. Keep up the great work.I will update this in the future.

Very intuitive and works without a smartphone app

I did not expect that this device would be so intuitive to use and would work without connecting it to a smartphone app. So far, I've used it for 5 smokes and have not found a need to connect it to my phone. This was an upgrade from a MEATER+ I used for years. Very pleased with the Typhur Sync.

The recipes are superb and the probes work perfectly EVERY SINGLE TIME!! This was a great investment! I’ve tried others but none better!

This was a gift for my husband. I have purchased many wireless thermometers for him but his is by far the best one yet. The two probes are great and the fact that it connects to wifi makes it perfect for being able to step away but still keep an eye on the progress of what is on the smoker!
