Best wireless thermometer on the marketplace!!!

I have had the two prob unit for several months now and to be honest about it they work better than any competitor hands down they are very dependable and have made my life so much better when I am cooking, and I love to cook now I have to say there is something out there that is better, because of range!!! That been said it is their gold series !!! I wanted to try them with all my different equipment and most of my smokers have moving shelves which means no wires! These temp units work flawless in these situations with thick steel machines and the receiving unit is setting on table next to it! Both the silver and the gold units work flawlessly I won’t use any other brand now they have proven them self give me a nother year and I will write a nother Rating for these units…!!! I might be looking at a two probe gold unit and giving my silver unit to my wife for the oven and her cooks indoors!!! I would more than recommend their equipment and the warranty is fantastic even though I haven’t had to use it at all!!! Oh buy the way I would have never wrote a review like this for any other wireless units that I have spent a lot of money for !!!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Please make the next version either thinner (best) and/or shorter (or have a shorter minimum insertion length). Otherwise it's done everything I need it to do well and the app is actually useful.

I purchased the Typhur just in time for Thanksgiving. My turkey had no chance of being overdone the fight was over. I have used several other brands and have had the usual complaints about their performance. This product is the best of the best. the compact size, the convenient storage of the probes ,simple charging of the probes, no batteries to replace, simple cook setup ,the choice of using the Typhur body or the smart phone app to monitor the cook is a game changer. not to mention it Works Fantastically. the frustration of a lost connection and over cooked meats is gone. looking forward to Christmas / Holiday dinner

Difficult to use

I have used this several times now. I find it confusing. It gives you recipes, but I find that it's hard to find the cooking times for the food. Don't know what I did last night but it didn't record my temperature and the steak got overcooked. The timer didn't go off. I bought two for Christmas gifts for my family. Hope they can figure it out!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not waste your money! The temperature is waaay off. I used two instant read thermometers and there was a 14-18° difference!! Ruined our Thanksgiving turkey. It was way overcooked thanks to this garbage product.

I really like the dual thermometers, since if makes sense for large cuts of meat or large birds like a turkey, to have two separate accurate readings while cooking. The fact that the receiver/charger base provides you all the current information is a real plus, rather than having to depend on a phone app though Typhur's app works very well in addition.
The units work without losing signal from out at my BBQ to my kitchen without fail every time.

Much better than others!

I have meateors and tempspikes . Was tired of the disconnects and horribly buggy software they use. I will say im genuinely impressed with the typhurs. Much better quality hardware and so far the software seems perfect with zero disconnects! I use the wireless and remote monitoring alot. Thanks Typhur, i just ordered another set for a friend.
