I've been using this particular case for over a week now and it seems to protect my phone just as well as all of the other Otterbox Defender cases that I've ever used. It's a light and sleek design. I've used the Defender cases for years (since 2014, I think) and they've always protected my phone amazingly. I dropped my last phone into the gears of an elliptical machine at the gym and the phone itself didn't shatter or break. The Otterbox took the brunt of the impact. The phone itself was just slightly bent and worked perfectly fine until I decided to get a new phone over six months later. These Defender cases have really earned my trust. I never use my iPhone with a Defender case. You won't regret investing in one.

Belt clip broke after 1 use, case is not wireless charging compatible. Really a poor product now which is a shame.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Additionally, we do recommend using OtterBox Power options for the best charging experience with your case.
