Great for the Mechanic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutley love the clarity of theses buds for calls and music. Great for studing and on the job training that requires you listen while watch. Helps drown out alot of the background noise and help keep conversation and seminairs very crisp and clean audio. Let my kids give them a shot to see how they fit smaller ears. They work great for everyone in the house except my little 6 year old, could find the replacement ear pieces to fit her tiny ears. But great sound and fit for everyone older in the house. After you do the intial setup they link up super fast, great battery time. I can work a whole 14hr shift and have music or podcast for the whole day working on cars.

Nice sound, noise cancelling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The storage case is nice and small, and the buds themselves are pretty small. They came fully charged and synced up easily with my phone. I also downloaded the JBL app, which is a nice addition.
I love the noise cancelling/ambient options, they really do seem to block out a lot of background noise. None of my other ear buds have this option.
The sound is really good, I like classical and jazz and you can really hear the highs and lows of the music. They have a nice base also for the rock fans. The app makes it easy to adjust the settings.
I've had and used them for several days and they're still charged.
My only real disappointment is they don't seat well in my ears. I've tried all the different insert sizes. They just don't feel secure and tend to dislodge with much movement, so I likely won't use them for running or at the gym. But great for working or walking. Maybe it's just MY ears are odd shaped.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My only complaint is they can be a bit challenging to get out of the case as they don't stick up very far. The case seems robust and the earbuds seem to lock in well enough for a workout, they held in there whole I ran 2 miles.

Great sound at a low price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Vibe buds 2 have a very cool design. They are compact, light, and quite comfortable.
The sound is crystal clear, you can savor the highs, and you can also feel the deep low bass frequencies that are usually hard to reproduce with such small drivers.

The sound of these earbuds can also be customized from the app on your phone and is very easy to use.
The app features an equalizer with six different preset sound modes, and although these buds don't have noise canceling, they do have two very convenient features like the smart AMBIENT AWARE technology that helps you stay aware of your surroundings, and TALKTHRU, which lowers the level of the music during conversations, so you can clearly hear the other person's voice.
The app also has a VOICEAWARE feature, it means that you can control the volume of your own voice while talking to others on the phone, just turn it on and adjust the volume to your personal preference.
These buds are touch sensitive. You can control them by simply touching them to play music, adjust the volume, answer or reject calls, or change to a different track.
The new charging case has an open design, it does not have a lid, instead, there's a strong magnet that keeps the buds in place, and it's very convenient, no more opening and closing the lid, just reach and grab.
The ear buds, as well as the charging case, they both have lithium batteries.
It takes two hours to fully charge the case from empty and one hour to charge the buds.
When fully charged, you get 8 hours of battery life in the ear buds, and 24 in the case.

It's also nice to know that you can speed charge an extra 2 hours in just 10 minutes.
I truly recommend the JBL Vibe 2 buds. They are great for music, chillin' and relaxing, exercising, indoors, or outdoors.

Big Sound, Small Package, Not so good Controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried many different brands and styles of earbuds over the years. These are the tried and true in-ear buds with swappable ear canal tips to fit all kinds of ears. For me, these fit very well and seal out external noise quite well. I do understand that fit/comfort is VERY subjective, but for me, these are the style and fit that I prefer.
The sound: it's good. Not insane hi-fi good, but for daily podcast and music listening, they're good. Phone calls are clear and I had no issue being heard during hands-free phone calls.
The Tech: they paired REALLY fast and easily with my Android phone. The JBL Headphones app found the Buds quickly and went right to the options menus for controlling the gestures, sound EQ etc.
The Negative: for me, the gestures and the touch controls were inconsistent and frustrating. I just want to be able to tap anywhere on the bud to start/stop the audio. I struggled to tap correctly to answer a phone call. When I did manage to tap correctly to pause the music I was listening to, there seems to be a large lag between getting the 'beep'of the tap and the music starting and stopping. Wasn't a fan of that In this advanced age of personal electronics, I just want things to work as designed and I want it to work right away.
The Hardware: they seem solid. The case is very compact and charges fairly fast. I've never had a charge case without a lid over the Buds before. Not sure it the open top is a dust and grime catcher yet. Time will tell.
Bottom line is they are pretty solid for what they are and they make for a great backup set of ear buds. Not quite good enough to unseat my favorite daily wear buds, but decent sound and wearable comfort make these a solid #2 for me.

Good earbuds with nice features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, these headphones are decent, with nice features. The earbuds have a nice, sleek appearance. They were easy to connect to my phone and you can connect them to more than one device. You can choose whether to use the noise cancellation feature or ambient sound so that you can hear what's happening around you. The noise cancellation is pretty good, if you can get the buds seated correctly in your ears.
They sound ok, but don't have enough base for me. They do have ability to customize the sound using the JBL Headphones app if you are tech savvy. I set mine to the "extreme bass" preset, which helped, but they still sound kind of tinny to me.
The sound on calls is clear and people say that the sound is great and they couldn't even tell I was using the headset. The reason the I took off 2 stars: 1) the case is like a half of a case and relies on the magnets to hold the buds in the case. This may work if you put the case in your pocket with nothing else, but it looks like they'd come out of the case if thrown in a purse or backpack with alot of other things knocking up against them. 2) My biggest problem is getting the buds seated correctly in my ears. I tried changing the tips, but they never feel like they are in tight, and a couple of times they have fallen out. Because of the difficulty I had with getting these to stay in my ears and what I consider to be underwhelming sound when listening to music, I am luke warm on these. I feel like most of JBL's other headsets that I have used have had better sound.

Superior Audio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened the packaging for these ear buds I was very impressed with the sleek modern, yet simple design. The case design makes that the buds slide out with seamless ease. When I paired them to my phone it took literally milliseconds to connect!
But the sound is out of this world, the clear crisp sound paired with the trademark JBL deep bass makes them awesome for listening to music and can keep you listening for days.
When making calls the mic picks up your every word clearly and the active noise cancelling keeps ALL the noise out! With the tap of a finger they can easily switch to ambient aware to be able to hear sounds around you.
The controls are simple to use and make for a pleasant user experience. They fit snuggly in your ear and are so comfortable you'll forget your wearing them.
All in all a great bud whether for calls or for music, a Five Star product

Clear mids and highs with boomy base!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These JBL buds 2 are amazing. Connecting via bluetooth is a breeze. They fit snug and don't fall out of my ears and with an ergonomic design. I love the magnetic case. The case holds the earbuds firmly without falling out. They have long play times (about 10 hours) with clear mids, highs, and a boomy base. You can utilize active noise canceling and talk through using the JBL headphones app. You can also fully control them by even setting a customized EQ with gesture controls. The phone calls are very crisp and clear. The ear buds feel so good in my ears that I forget I'm wearing them. I absolutely love these compact earbuds. They feel great while doing yard work and exercising. I absolutely love these JBL Vibe Buds 2.
