WOW!!

I bought this projector for myself last Christmas (2013). It is my first projector and it replaced a 25" crt. I recently just finished remodeling my living room (17'x18') and wanted a large screen tv to finish it off. Since this is my first projector, I had done quite a bit of research and still had many questions about placement, throw, input lag, etc.. But I pulled the trigger and purchased it anyway. I am beyond satisfied!
Currently, I do not have a screen as I simply didn't know what size I would need. Shooting onto the wall which is a goldish color gives a great picture. I was really surprised how white the whites are. Shooting onto a white bedsheet obviously gives better whites and skin tones, but it who needs a bedsheet hanging on the wall, so I just use the painted wall.
Placement: Not really an issue. Currently, it is sitting off to the side of the room about 13' back shooting onto the wall opposite the sofa at about a 60 degree angle. The mechanical keystone adjustment squares the picture up nicely. The zoom, although not a large adjustment, allows ample adjustment in the range of 8-10" at this distance. Plus, the projector automatically deals with vertical keystone.
3D:
I really didn't care if the tv had 3D or not, but after I got the projector up and running, I decided to give 3D a try. I purchased the cheapest glasses I could find with the same 'Full HD 3D RF' symbol on them as on the projector. I also picked up Avatar-3D. Result... WOW! I don't see any reason to ever purchase another non-3D disc ever again! I will note that upon first setting up the 3D, I did get and error message that my ps3 could not detect my 3D viewing device. But after setting the video output settings of the ps3 (where you set screen size) and cycling power on the projector, all was well and it works flawlessly.
With a tv this large, you KNOW you are going to play games on it, so input lag was a concern. Since I only racing games, the input lag of this projector is not a problem. Don't even notice it.

This projector was perfect out of the box had it for 2 days now, but for some reason keeps telling me my lamp is bad. The projector has less than 8 hours of use. haven't read about anyone else having this problem so maybe it was just me.

This projector is really good. Picture quality is clear, 1080p, colors are accurate, 3D really pops, built in speakers is pretty loud, overall a well rounded projector. It's also very bright.
The only downside is that I wish the contrast ratio is a bit higher, fan is noisy at the highest settings and there are times while I'm watching something that it will jump to the Epson/Blank screen for about 10 seconds and jumps back to the content.
