Great Projector with a bit of shortcome

This projector is really good. Picture quality is clear, 1080p, colors are accurate, 3D really pops, built in speakers is pretty loud, overall a well rounded projector. It's also very bright.
The only downside is that I wish the contrast ratio is a bit higher, fan is noisy at the highest settings and there are times while I'm watching something that it will jump to the Epson/Blank screen for about 10 seconds and jumps back to the content.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my first purchase of a projector and I cudn't be happier! Setting it up was extremely easy and the picture quality is truly amazing!!
I was looking for something not expensive but had the quality, and this is just that...
Already shown to my friends and they love it too!

Great unit but ive only had it for around 3 months and it has these annoying vertical green lines that just recently appeared on the screen. I plan on sending the unit in for repairs to epson. Ill follow this review with another letting you guys know how the return process and customer service went.

Good Projector

This projector was perfect out of the box had it for 2 days now, but for some reason keeps telling me my lamp is bad. The projector has less than 8 hours of use. haven't read about anyone else having this problem so maybe it was just me.

Perfect color

I actually didn't buy this projector for home cinema use; I teach Adobe software, and needed a new projector to accommodate the higher resolution on new laptops. "Business" projectors display lousy color -- not good for teaching Photoshop. The color rendering is perfect with this projector, and its support for high resolution content results in gorgeous presentation.
But since the projector supports 3D, I bought a pair of Epson 3D glasses and tried that out—wow! It looks like I might be using it for home cinema after all :-)

Big Bang for little buck

This was a first time endeavor in the projector world. After reading dozens of reviews as well as seeing them on YouTube, choosing the 2030 seemed like a no brainer. I'm in the process of finishing my basement where the 2030 will be permanently mounted on the ceiling. I tested it on a 36 inch stool 14 feet from a wall painted prairie yellow(yes, prairie yellow, a true yellow) It produced an amazing, sharp picture with vivid color almost 10 ft. wide. There was one lamp on with a 75 watt bulb throwing some ambient light but it did not affect picture quality. The 3D feature was amazing. It rivals movie theater quality. Let's not forget the 2 year warranty. I couldn't find that else where. I suppose if you're a techno-geek you could critique the black levels, lumens, lens features, etc. but I found that to be a non-issue because I'm not an electronics critic. Read the reviews. People are saying good things about this projector. You won't be disappointed.
