I have been using Otterbox Defender cases for probably the past decade, if not more. They have protected my phones throughout some very tough service as a 911 Advanced Care Paramedic. I am quite tough on my devices, amd with the exception of the belt holder, which historically does not survive, the case is the best.
The rubber trim around the camera started peeling and rubbing off within a few days of using the case. Very bothersome for being such an expensive case that it can't even last a couple of days. The rest of the case seems to be holding up well after a few weeks of use now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The case works well, but you have to wear the belt clip backwards to have on right side

This is my second otterbox product, the last one was fantastic. This one feels just as rugged, solid, and quality product. The only thing I missed was the built in screen protector
I have always loved the defenders since my first Samsung galaxy s4 and every model i have had thereafter has had a defender case on it however the change of the case not including the screen protector and the product never changing price has always felt conflicted on me

Our engineers removed the built-in screen protector from our Defender Series case a few years back to ensure complete functionality with the newest devices. We redesigned our Defender Series in order to provide the same drop protection even without the built-in screen protector. The S23 Otterbox is nice , but i don't like the way the latch is made on the clip . The clip only attaches to the phone One way , and the actual clip on the holster has already broken off the holster.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
