I work from home and this standing desk is amazing and well made, exceeded my expectations for the price. The shipping process was quicker than I thought and received it in days. Assembly was easy and would highly recommend!

Tabletop arrived damaged, poorly constructed

I ordered the E1 frame, with "solid wood" desktop option, in Rubberwood. Unfortunately, the top arrived with multiple areas of splitting and splintering along the seams where pieces of wood were joined together in a zig-zag pattern. The top seems to be poorly constructed, not the solid piece of wood they advertise. If you were to run a piece of paper over these areas, it would likely tear - and would scratch the bottom of your laptop.
In addition, the keypad for adjusting desk height seems to have a mind of its own. It easily takes 45 seconds to get it to finally land at the desired height, as it will move up and down at will, in small increments, instead of simply moving steadily in the direction of the button being pressed. This occurs even after resetting the keypad. Overall, this is not the type of quality I was hoping for in a desk at this price point. Would not recommend.

Thank you for contacting us. As per checking, the pre-drilled holes are only for reference. Kindly drill the holes depending on the size of your tabletop and expand the frame to match it. It&s not totally necessary to line up the legs with the pre-drilled holes if they do not match or if there are none. You can just drill it even if it is not aligned with the pre-drilled holes. As long as you install the desktop and baffles to both edges, it&s good.
Regarding The issue with its controller, Please be advised that your desk has anti-collision feature and the sensitivity can be adjusted. Please see the instruction on how to adjust it for your reference.
a. Keep pressing the "▲ " and "▼" buttons at the same time for 5 seconds to switch the sensitivity to levels 1, 2 or 3.?
b. When the display shows " A-1", it signifies low sensitivity. "A-2 " signifies medium sensitivity and "A-3 " signifies high sensitivity. If it shows A-0, it means that the anti-collision is off.

Nice desk but poor assembly experience

Really like the desk so far!! However, the assembly process was a bit annoying. As others mentioned in their reviews, the desk did not have all the right drill holes, and we had to create 4 ourselves which was confusing. Additionally, after getting it set up, two of the parts are rubbing together when i move the desk up and down, which creates a loud noise and seems like it shouldn&t be happening. So I&m thinking the parts are a little faulty, but overall the desk surface is great and feels very sturdy even at the highest level.

Happy with my Essential Standing Desk (E2) so far!

My desk was relatively easy to put together and is working great so far! Some of the instructions were a little hard to follow & some pre-drilled holes were missing, but I was eventually able to figure it out and drill the holes I needed. For the price point, it&s a great desk!

Solid desk

So far the desk has been great. It was pretty easy to assemble, although some of the holes on the bottom of the desk were off (lots of extras), which was a bit confusing. It’s sturdy and doesn’t wobble at all, even when it’s at standing height. The wood (Solid wood, rubberwood) looks great too. Would recommend!

I’m very pleased with this desk. It’s very stable and sturdy and raises and lowers smoothly. I have the 2 drawers with a keyboard space on top. It’s separate but stays in place.
Highly recommend.
