I'm using it as a stand for a full-size keyboard. I would like it to go a little bit lower (the keyboard takes up 5 inches too) but it is workable. Best thing is that I can play standing up.

Before you order 24" deep tabletop....

These desks are great, super easy to assemble and do everything you want them to do for you. I bought one for myself a while ago, and recently purchases one for my daughter with a 60" x 24" table top. However, this one has a slight wrinkle in that (a) it's only 23.5" deep but more importantly (b) the foot supports at the bottom are 27" deep. That means you'll never be able to have this desk be flush against a wall (or with a 3/8" gap for wires etc). The best you can do is a 2" gap and that means things can spill over your desk if you aren't careful. I am a little surprised that they didn't see this design issue. You don't have to have 27" foot supports. Shortening it to 24" should still give you enough stability for their entire range of tabletops.

i did not anticipate the sharp edges of the table on its front that literally leave scratches on my forearm. the table also squeaks when expanding and folding. also the overall appearance is a lot less subtle than the picture

This desk is too tall at the lowest setting, which is 29. 1 inches, not 28. 1. Also, it stops when you press the Up button. You always have to press it twice. Other than that, it's a good desk.

I like the desk so far, but the height was very unclear. I wanted it to be able to fit under something that is slightly over 28”. I thought this desk would work because it was advertised as being 28” in the lowest position. Turns out that it is 28” without the top. This should be more clearly indicated. I’m going to keep it because I was able to squeeze it in beside the item I initially wanted it to fit under.
