I have breathing problems due to asthma and COPD. My apartment is also very dusty due to the remodeling. I bought the Airdog 5 to purify my apartment. I have only had it a few weeks but it works tremendously. Glad I shopped around and got this air purifier.

I moved into an apartment where some of the neighbors and the former tenant are smokers. Within half an hour of plugging in this air purifier, my apartment smelled clean, and I could breathe so much more easily.
Then a plumbing issue necessitated removing some drywall in the bathroom, which caused a ton of debris from the walls to go airborne. Again, within half an hour the air was clear, and the AQI was back down into the single digits. I love this air purifier!

This is the best air filter I've had. I'm in love with it. My cat litter box is in the room with where I sleep. I no longer have any odors at all. Due to the cat dandruff I have a hard time breathing. It is hard for me to sleep at night but since I have the X5 I am sleeping all night now and breathing through my nose again. Also my cat is sleeping back on my bed again and I don't hear him snoring as much as I used to. This is a product I can recommend and the most important thing is you don't have to buy those expensive HEPA filters. I like the electrostatic filter much better because you take it out and wash it and let it dry and stick it back in in your good to go. That can save you lots of money in the long run because HEPA filters can get pretty expensive.

I did a full review of the Airdog X5 on my blog and its definitely five stars. I wanted to wait a few months so I could share the cleaning experience. It's so simple to clean. It took no effort at all, just rinsing and removing dust. We're very happy with the Airdog and glad that it is CARB certified (by the California Air Respouces Board). You won't go wrong owning this great device - we're so glad to know that our air a fresh and clean!
