Super quiet; easy to operate; good looking, and no replacement filters to worry about. It's perfect for our apartment. Very happy with it so far.

As we all know, the threat of covid is constant no matter whether you received vaccination or not. The holidays, are the most precious times to be together with your family. Many families today are blended families. I wanted my family to be able to get together at least 20 of us and not have to be super worried about spreading covid. I took this unit into the house turned it on and it started at 197, and after an hour it walked itself all the way down to the eighties. There's a fireplace in this house as well. Some smokers too. I let this run on level 3 the entire time and so far it's been 6 days,
Nobody has covid.
My niece who runs her own business was so absolutely impressed with how good this unit worked in a 1000 ft² house, she bought 2 of them right then and there with her phone. One for her business and one for her house.
It truly eliminates all odors no matter what they are. Yes I would definitely buy another one. I'm very impressed
with its ease of maintenance.
Needs a better remote. It's hit and miss

We have two Airdog 8s. Bought this for a friend who lives in Haiti where the pollution on the streets is horrible. We are hopeful it will make a difference for him.

The actual unit is great however there was a lot of confusion about WiFi compatibility. There is only one X5 listed on the website and since the unit I got has a remote with a "WiFi" button on it, and the User Manual indicates where the WiFi Light is (which is visible on the unit), I was under the impression that the one I ordered was, in fact, compatible. It is not clear from the website and available resources which X5 are WiFi compatible and, if only one version of the X5 is available, why it is not compatible itself. It was also disheartening to have read that previous version of X5 WERE WiFi compatible while the unit I received is not. Please try to clarify this for any future customers as I'm sure there will be other people who find themselves in the same situation and spend time/effort trying to get their X5 to connect via WiFi.

The AirDog X5 is great. I like how it monitors air quality, which gives you something to go by to know if it's actually working. I also like the automatic ramping feature and how the air is blown straight up out the top of the unit. It is very quiet. So far so good.
