Works great to make masks for shopping, Knee pads for crawling grandkids to sewing Levis Does not have all the fancy stitches that you will never use but enough different stitches to make your clothes look good. The price is great a good value.

When I started sewing face masks for essential workers, my old sewing Manning started giving me trouble with the thread getting caught so that I had to hold one finger on the thread while sewing. So, I went on line and ordered this new machine. It arrived in a good amount of time. It has been working well for my continuing sewing project. Since I am getting older, threading needles has become more of a challenge. So I really like the way it threads your needle for you.

I just wanted a basic machine. I do a little quilting, made over 100 face masks, baby quilts, towel bibs etc. When I try to go fast, the threading on top comes undone on the machine. If I just take it easy, it is fine. I like the see through bobbin and the needle threader. I always buy the cheaper, heavy duty Singers and they last me forever so that was one of the reasons I bought this one. If it would stay threaded, I would have no complaints at all.

I typically use a sewing machine for basic purposes like hemming pants legs, and small projects that do not require great expertise. This heavy duty, yet simple to use machine fills my needs. I like the needle threading feature because eyesight and unsteady hands would likely prevent me from using this machine without it.
