Didn’t realize the machine doesn’t have the needle up/down button. I have grown accustomed to this feature on my other machines and it will take some time to get used to doing this manually on this machine.

Great For Beginners

I’m a beginner sewer and I needed a machine that was both easy to use and going to take me through my sewing journey. This machine fits the bill. I chose Singer because my mom always used Singer machines and it’s a name I can trust. Additionally, buying accessories is extremely easy!

This machine is wonderful to use and powerful. I started with a Singer Simple and used it for years, the 4452 is so much more stable and powerful. I like that there was a walking foot, and a tool to help the foot move over large seams. Free iron was the cherry on top.
