The machine was purchase to replace a older model of same but to my dismay it is a cheaply made model, the older model prevails. This is what I get when you purchase online. Not happy with it.

Kind of a let down

I bought this machine as my first "professional" sewing machine and had so many plans for it. When it arrived I used it for no more than a week and it stopped working. I called my local sewing machine shop to see if they could tell me what was the problem turns out the timing was off so it had to be fixed (yes and it was only after a week). They told me that that happened a lot with these types of machines. I said screw it I'll just return it, but because I have been working a lot the 30 day free return period passed and now I can not get a refund. I could go get it fixed but the closest warranty center is over 35 miles away and I don't have the time to go. It sucks that I looked forward to making art and let my creativity flow for such a letdown.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very quick delivery, nearly perfect condition. I got it to make a cover for my 17' boat (N.E. Dory) Worked great, sewing plastic tarp. Rank beginner. Only complaint was that needle threader was not aligned, no instructions for correcting that. Looking for a good solution without taking machine in for service.
