I bought this Singer HD several years ago and love how I can sew binding on quilts or zippers on jeans, it's like a warm knife thru butter. My Brother machine balks at binding. I had a Babylock that the fabric just wanted to slide all over the place. My Singer HD has never given me a moments problem, it just goes and goes. I've started taking some sewing classes and decided I want to take my Singer HD. I bought another one because I keep two set up in my sewing room all the time. I love my Singer HD! It may not be expensive but it sure does get the job done.

So far so good with this machine. Sews fine and is easy to use. Pretty good selection of stitches. The one feature that is not great at all is the light. Even with my overhead ceiling light on I feel like I am sewing in a dimly lit cave. I will have to buy a gooseneck lamp and perch it nearby.
It was my 47th Birthday and we are in a Pandemic and I had nothing to do and decided to Take up Sewing to sew masks for 1st Responders and my husband bought me this Sewing machine which was Amazingly easy to use and did a Great Job. I can honestly say I went from never sewing a day in my life to actually being really good at it now and I owe to the Singer 4452 Sewing Machine!!! Thank you! :-)
This machine can do the work! Lives up to its name! I love it! Now, my mom's 1973 sewing machine can be used as lightly as I want, because I know this Singer can handle everything I do! Thank you for fast shipping and delivery! I can continue helping others. Carolyn
This is a very good basic machine that both the beginner to experienced can appreciate. This particular machine is very easy to use and even came with some extras. I have always loved my singer sewing machines and I don't think you can go wrong no matter which singer model you choose!
I had a Singer when I was a teenager, MANY years ago. Loved it then, love it now. Especially the self-threading feature, it is a game-changer!!! My eyes aren't what they used to be and makes it VERY difficult to thread a needle. Machine is well-made, and quiet. Can't beat a Singer!
Usedit to restich a boat tarp instead of paying $900 for a new custom tarp. Finished the job in 3 hours. Very fast if you want it fast! I used coats outdoors thread too. Thick stuff. Now I will probably sell the machine on marketplace for 50$ more than I paid for it.
I went with simple and heavy duty, (not a beginner and have had singer and other machines before) it is performing as i expected. Seems well made, i did have an issue with some stitching but i will chalk that up to operator error/new machine. Other than that, all good. I purchased not too long ago when the demand was far exceeding supply and I was fortunate i got a machine and got it quickly.
