I bought this machine to replace a 40 year old Singer sewing machine. It had 2 stitch options, straight stitch and zig zag. This one will take a little time to learn for me. I thought in the beginning that the speed would bother me, but it doesn't.

I like the machine and really haven't done enough to rate it. I gave the rating 4 stars and would have given 5 if there were clear directions on what bobbin is recommended. If I would have thought about the instruction manual I would have rated lower, the manual is in French, Spanish, and English without separation. You have to print all 70(?) pages and sort it out.

Seems to be a quality machine. I’ll let you know next year. It replaces a Janome 100 that was close in price from sewing store but had a number of issues over last eight years.
