Last summer during lockdown I bought a used heavy duty sewing machine from this website. When I went to sew something it didn’t work :(
I would probably purchase from here again but get a new machine

Although i did some research before my purchase i was a bit apprehensive because of the reviews I read about uncontrolled speed. Which turned out to be a non issue. This machine has everything I need on it and i wanted one that was strictly mechanical and not computerized. The 4452 fits all i wanted. It is my dream machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not been good to me

I bought this machine and in the beginning it was great and then once I used it to make a lightweight puffer jacket it has been constantly jamming I have changed needles bobbin dread and no matter what after its ditches for about six times it will jam up at the bottom I am so frustrated I have no idea what to do anymore
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Saw the negative reviews but still made purchase. Unfortunately the negative reviews are true.
This HD machine is junk and a total waste of money.
Foot pedal is junk, machine will not sew properly no matter what the adjustment
Should have returned it, selling it because its pointless

Love this sewing machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited about this sewing machine. I sew woven wool pillowcases so I needed a sewing machine that could withstand the heavy fabric. The extension table is the best thing ever. I am not sure how I’ve gone this long without having one! Set up was so easy and the instructions were well written and easy to understand. It ran nicely, didn’t give off any weird burnt smells like I’ve read from other users and it withstood the wool and several cotton pieces at once. Also it nicely sews just a strip of cotton fabric too. I don’t use all of the attachments it comes with but glad they are made available. If I had one thing to complain about it would be the cover they provide. But it obviously is just a dust cover and not meant to protect the machine itself. Just means I need to go get a case to put it in for when it’s not in use because this thing is awesome! Definitely want to protect it. Love this sewing machine!
I would recommend this to a friend!

having a major problem, can't find any help!;

This machine is not a year old yet. I haven't sewn a lot on it. I have not been able to fix a major problem I am having with it. I haven't been able to get help with finding out what is wrong.
The problem is that the thread keeps breaking.around the needle area or the arm thingy that g oes up and down. It does not appear to get stuck. I have changed needles too. I am hoping to get a live person to advise me what to do!.
