The Singer M1500 has many features for a basic machine. It works very well. The machine is easy to thread and loading the bobbin is not difficult. Would recommend this product.

Never have sewn in my life but decided to get this machine to make custom curtains for my home (and fix other things). Excellent, high quality, easy and fun to use.

It’s a great beginner sewing machine! Simple features and easy to use. I even tried some trickier fabrics (wools and thick knit fabrics) & it still got the job done!
So far the machine works great. I just wish the instructions that came with the machine had actual words to go along with the pictures.

I got M1500 in early April this year when the Covid19 started to spread. Wearing masks is recommened for health safety. But buying masks was difficult, taking too long. Hence DIY was and still is a great option. I started making masks right away. At first, I broke quite a few needles and it took awhile for new ones to arrive if I was lucky to find them. Using the right kind of needles help!! Then stich issues-- too loose or too tight. Here I learn how to put the bobbin in the right way, adjust some thread tension, using the right bobbin, clean the machine to get rid of lints and excess thread.
In the mean time I sewed and sill do masks for family and friends. I start to sell my masks too, now that I more or less perfect my mask making.
Love this little machine now that I learn more about it and how easy it is to use. It's light for me to carry it around. I missed sewing during the three weeks recovering from Covid19. This machine helps me cope with life during this time. I am clam and peaceful while sewing.
great machine, works wonderfully, but sometimes stretchy fabric get caught underneath. however, once you get the hang of it, it works great :) Jesus loves you! John 3:16
