This is my third I phone X clip holder. The movable pinch clip should be metal. When getting in and out of vehicles phone catches and clip breaks.

I had an OtterBox for my last iPhone but it didn’t fit my new iPhone - so I went without one for almost a year. This one is much better than having a naked phone but not as rubbery as my last one which I liked better. It was easier to grip and didn’t slide around.

First time using a screenless case, but the iphone x is supposed to handle a quick dip in shallow water, so looked for shock, dirt and dust protection. I've only been using the case for a couple weeks, so I can't really speak to performance. But the fit is right and seems to be sturdy. I'm a little concerned that the camera lens isn't enclosed, but it is well recessed. Perhaps a screen would be nice for the speakers. Time will tell, but I'm liking it more each day.

I was pleased with the Otter box protection surrounding my iPhone 7. It preserved functionality and trade-in value. The iPhone X is larger, and so is the surrounding Otter box, which I bought to replace a compact but less protective Otter cover. The cushion from the Defender series offers more protection, a better grip and peace of mind.
