I ordered this case before purchasing my new iPhone and I have to say I absolutely love it. The colors were a little bit different from what I expected - I thought the designs would be peach colored but instead they are a light pink, but regardless it is a solid case all around.
This case protects my phone from bumps and scratches and I can easily clip it and remove from my belt holster as well.
I also have to say I love the “screen less edition” because I prefers to put a shatterproof glass screen protector on my phone rather than rely on a plastic one. I just popped one on and then put on the case.
The only negative I’ve found so far is that the back of the case is smooth and a little slippery, but the sides are grippy and it makes it easier to get in and out of my pocket. Also - if you wear dark denim jeans, the color does transfer to it from rubbing. I haven’t found a way to remove the discoloration but even so, this case is more than worth it. 5 stars. Would purchase again.

The Defender Case for the iPhone X is exactly what I expected. A sturdy, protective, and attractive case. I have had an Otter Box Defender case on every phone I’ve had for 10 years. They have never let me down. I work on an ambulance so my phones get dropped, dirty, stepped on, and still look brand new when the case comes off. Yes it’s bulky compared to the phone itself but I buy phones for the features, not the looks and size. Well done Otter Box. I did put a glass screen protector over the phone screen for extra protection.

I originally bought the Symmetry Case for my iPhone X. I had it for my 7 Plus but I didn’t feel like it was protective enough for my new phone.
I bought the Defender about a month later and it’s definitely a great case. It doesn’t make the phone feel super bulky. If you’re coming from a 6 or 7 plus, you may even prefer this case because it makes the phone feel less dangerously small. It still fits in my pockets though!
I only have two complaints.
1) The charger port cover is SO hard to get out. For the first two weeks I had to use my charger to pry it out. It did loosen but it can still be difficult at times. It’s not like the 7 Plus defender where it has a little cut out for your finger. The ringer on/off switch is easy to open though!
2) The case creaks like an old wooden floor. I was hoping this wouldn’t happen because it’s a gross sound/feeling, but it’s not TOO bad. Just kind of irritating. I guess that’s what happens when you put two pieces of hard plastic together!

My second defender case. Less brick like than previous yet still retaining the feel that my phone is safe if accidentally dropped whilst still allowing access to all that is important on my phone. The body offers good grip and it looks relatively stylish for what is mainly protection.

I bought the Alpha glass and Defender case and it is great combo. The old plastic cover would get marked and scarred over time. This seems to be the answer for me. Already know the case will protect your phone but the combo of the glass is case is great. Now if we could just get Apple to make the Iphone waterproof we would have the total package.
