Missing the plastic front for this model. Better off to buy one with a flip open cover. Very little screen protection on this. Cost is way to much for what you get. Very disappointed

We intentionally decided to forego the built-in screen protector on this version in order to maintain full device function, especially with the curved screen. The Main Reason I bought this phone is for drop protection - for that I would give 5 stars. This is my 3rd phone that I have protected with a "defender" case. I work 12 hour shifts at a power plant where we work in all kinds of weather all year round. I have dropped my phone numerous times reasonable heights. My phone has never been damaged at all and the case has always held up and never had to be replaced. Again - 5 STARS for that.
The only thing that I wish they could make more user friendly on this iPhone x case is the access to / or the operation of the vibration switch on the upper left hand side of the phone. I use this feature often and it requires two hands, and the switch is in under the cover pretty far- so if you have big fingers, good luck getting in there to move that switch.
I also think the recharge port cover is a bit of a pain to use when you want to charge your phone - but I think that is the case with almost any phone cover you buy that has a cover over it anyways.
But bottom line is I am very happy with this case - especially for what I wanted it to do for me.
I would buy this case again and recommend it to everyone who wants the best drop protection for their phone!

I've been using defender series cases since my 1st iphone 3s not one issue related to protective promised by this product 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s plus, 8plus and finally the iphone X all protected by this case worth every dollar spent. Excellent product you won't regret buying this protection!

I got my first Defender case (iPhone 3GS) over 6 years ago and have purchased one for each of my subsequent iPhones (5s and recently purchased X). Not only have they protected my phones when accidentally dropped (have NOT yet dropped the X) but having the holster and clip has been a super plus for clipping the iPhone onto my waistbands, or even a backpack/purse strap, if necessary. I am a small person with most of my clothes also having small pockets; consequently the holster and clip required features for me.
