Our engineers redesigned our Defender Series in order to provide the same drop protection even without the built-in screen protector. I had to return this item because I didn't notice the magsade was not strong enough to hold the phone in a vertical position. The item itself was well designed, well made and I'm sure it would protect the phone very. well/

Hello! We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience. The Defender and Defender Pro Series case are compatible with wireless charging, but do not contain magnets in the case. Therefore, they will not adhere or "snap" to MagSafe charging stands and accessories. Should one be looking for a case with the rugged protection of the Defender, but also with MagSafe (magnets in the case) the Defender XT is an excellent option to consider!
