I have had a Otter Box Defender phone case since Smart Phones came out. I have NEVER broken a phone or a screen EVER and I drop my phone daily. I ordered my case and it was here a week before the phone. Out of the shipping box to the Otter Box!!! Period!

With 2 children I have always ordered the Defender Series for the ultimate protection from extra drops and I have never been disappointed. It was bulky but it did its job! This new design for the iPhone 12 Pro Max seems to be a slimmer design which is awesome and it still does it's work protecting my phone from bumps and bruises!

I upgrade as soon as new iPhones are out and order my OtterBox in advance for DAY ONE protection.
I like that the 'lines' on the back can be cut with an exacto knife to accommodate a credit card.
PLUS, the rubbery 'skin' allows me to attach a 'lanyard' at the bottom for extra convenience.
Even with DUAL LAYER PROTECTION, on my MAX size, it easily slides in and out of my pocket without a struggle.

Overall the Otterbox Defender Series is the best case you can choose for your phone. They have changed a bit over the years, but you still get that great protection for your phone. I love the screen less feature with the newer iPhones! For the iPhone 12 Pro Max, I wish the case had a little more of a raised edge on the sides like it does on the top & bottom, but overall an awesome case to go with!

Bought this about a month ago and so far seems to be a great cover for my phone. Only gave it 4 stars because it is quite difficult to remove in order to use the MagSafe charger. Kind of disappointing

I have owned this case and phone for about a month and the only aspect that is not as desirable as previous versions of Otter Defender cases is that magnetic charging is very finicky. I can only get the phone to charge magnetically on some magnetic chargers. It charged on a Mophie backup battery with magnetic charge feature, but not on a Mophie flat magnetic charger. Other than that, it's a great phone case.
