Unfortunately the Otterbox wireless charger won't charge the iPhone 12 Pro Max in the Defender case. Ten percent of the time it charges the phone and the other 90% of the time it aborts the charge and on several occasions it drains the battery. I had to switch to the Apple case with the Encased holster to get the charge to work every time.

Hi there,
Our OtterSpot Wireless Charging System will definitely work with the case, so if you're still having trouble, we'd love to look into that more. Please feel free to contact us below, and we'll dive in with some troubleshooting tips that should restore a seamless charging experience!
Alway had Otter for all electronics. I bought a case with screen. I was disappointed to find no screen at all. My job is rough and need the screen protector. Along with I ordered wrong glass protector and they wouldn’t exchange but would charge me a small fee to return. I am still a Otter fan because it has saved me many times but will look for something else also.
The OB with holster is better constructed than another brand I had. Good grip in your hands, ports are well covered. TOO THICK for magsafe use, but the thinner magsafel does not work in the Pro holster. So for now, it’s back to a direct cable for charging.
I had an Otter Box, with my iPhone10 and it was great. The Otter Box protected my iPhone10 completely and enabled me to get full price when I traded it back to Apple. So, when I bought my iPhone12, I purchased an Otter Box case to protect my new iPhone12.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Defender cases have always provided best protection… bulky in size but worth protecting phones. Just wished the wireless charging was better when using other brands wireless charging. Not sure if the Otterbox wireless charging would work with this case. Scared to purchase and be disappointed.
