The Otterbox seem to be doing the job of protecting my IPhone 12 having accidentally dropped it on a hard floor. Unfortunately I was unable to charge the phone wirelessly because of the new case. There is a tradeoff of safety for convenience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As always Otter Box cases provide excellent shock protection. But the Defender for the iPhone 12 Max Pro does not allow charging with my cordless charger. My previous iPhone XS Defender case did work with a wireless charger. But I bought the case for the proven protection, and it does that very well!
