I only buy OtterBoxes for all our electronics that need one. We tried so many other brands and nothing compares to OtterBox especially since they collaborated with popsocket best thing ever! They are the best! and their warranty is amazing and easy to deal with if something happens.
I have been using otterbox cases for years they have always protected my phones and keep them looking like new. I recently purchased an otterbox defender for my iPhone 12 pro max and it has the same great quality and fit as usual. The only difference between this case and the otterbox defender case I have on my iPhone XS Max is this one doesn’t charge through my wireless charging pad.
I’ve had many Otter box cases I really love them rugged and functional. The only problem I have so far is it was advertised as compatible with wireless charging but I have had no suck luck. Now I’m back to plugging my phone in. I’m glad I have a charging port to access.
I do really love this case. Very textured and definitely protects the phone. I like the belt clip to use as a stand or to attach to the belt. However the rubber is so thick, wireless Qi charger does not work. Also is understood that mag charger will not work.
It’s likely that it may be difficult engineering wise to allow for such protection but also wireless charging. Perhaps there might be a way to provide a design with a rear center cut out for a magsafe charger, at the least. I do understand for the thickness of this case, it is a difficult request or maybe even false expectation. However this was not clearly marked or denoted on the product description and could really help clarify messaging to consumers.
I am still using this case at the moment of sending this message. But I might switch back to a more casual case, unless I’m camping or on the road, so that I can still utilize my Qi station. I also own the Otterbox Aneu, which is magsafe and Qi compatible.
