Good case but……..

I’ve been a Otterbox customer for years so I’m familiar with the company and the durability of their products. Recently upgraded to an iPhone 12 Pro and I already had the phone fall out of its holster three times. I’ve had a iPhone 6 for years with an Otterbox Defender series and NEVER had that problem…once you clicked it in the holster….. it was locked in. With this Defender Pro Series, the designer/engineers need to beef up the little tabs that are supposed to lock your expensive phone down. The tabs are too small and the recesses on both sides of the case are too shallow. It feels like the slightest bump will dislodge it from the case. I had it fall to the ground in a store when my elbow knocked it, another time just exiting my vehicle…….and I’ve only had it for a week! If Otterbox had a Military version where you know it’s locked down, I would gladly purchase that. Until then I have to constantly pat my hip to make sure my phone didn’t drop out of the holster.

I am very disappointed that Otterbox decided to abandon what made them the most sought after phone cases.

Keep in mind, this case will perform best with OtterBox branded wireless chargers. I bought this case around the end of December because I always try to get the most protective case I can whenever I get a new phone. Now it is the middle of April and the material around the phone is chipped, and theres a big gap right on the corner of my phone. I haven’t dropped it, and especially not hard enough too have a whole peace break off. Its been less than half a year and the case is no longer protective. Not satisfied.

Have previously purchased OtterBox for my last 3 phones because of the raised lip for the case. This defender case will protect nothing! Completely flat with the phone! I drop my phone at least 3 times a day! USELESS!!! And no screen protector either!
