Good Frying Pan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good frying pan and it gets hot fast. I fried some shrimp in it for the first time I used it and it was solid, seemed to hold heat evenly and did what it was supposed to do.

Stylish, efficient, nonstick, but discolors easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Alva 9.5-inch forest carbon steel frying pan and absolutely love it. The heat-resistant wooden handle is not only stylish but also practical, making it comfortable to use. The nonstick surface is incredible – I was able to flip an egg for the first time ever! Cleaning is a breeze; I just let it cool down and wipe it with a paper towel. It heats up faster than cast iron, so setting the heat lower (per the instructions) works perfectly. I’ve made eggs and grilled cheese without any burning, which is a big win for me. The small size is ideal since I usually cook for one. The only downside is that the pan discolored slightly when cheese touched it, and I haven't been able to fix that.

Excellent quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing Alava carbon steel wok. I got the 31 cm. It is super durable, and I know I will have this wok for years to come. The quality is outstanding. I cooked my first meal in my wok and it heats up real fast and cooks the food very thoroughly. I can see how, with time, this wok would get better. The handle is natural wood and did not get hot at all. I'm very happy with my wok. I would recommend this to anyone. Next, I will fry some foods. It says it's good for high temperature frying. Excellent quality, and the weight is ideal. Easy to wash! Non-stick. Can't wait to make my next meal in my Alva wok.

Food comes out perfect using this wok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan works great. I love how heavy duty it is . Doesn’t feel like a light cheap pan at all. Food cooks so smoothly in it and it’s very spacious inside also. Food comes out great and no sticking at all. I highly recommend this wok.

Love the finish and the wood handle which makes it easy to manage and stays cool.I Personally don’t use oven to finish my dishes so it works for me otherwise it’s not oven safe .The pan distributes heat evenly and gives a nice sear and cook to meats.
