This is an excellent non-stick pan, and I'm very picky when it comes to pans. It's a nice weight, pretty design and most importantly eggs don't stick. I'm going to replace more of my pans with Alva because they work and are free of forever chemicals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the wok pan because I wanted to try out a wok style pan. The product received doesn’t look like what is in the product picture, but I’m glad because the product received is definitely more of the wok style that I wanted.
The wok pan looks to be a great quality and a good size. I like that it does heat up fast. I cooked a quick fried rice and it was good. I saw on the label that the pan is not dish washer safe. That may be a deal breaker for someone, but I don’t mind hand washing it.

A sleek steel wok with a beautiful acacia wood handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wok is beautiful. It’s made of carbon blue steel. This type of pan will build a natural non-stick patina on its surface after regular use. It’s actually the fat content in foods cooked in the pan that makes the non stick properties better over time. This pan is pre seasoned so you don’t have to go through any time consuming seasoning process. It’s larger than I anticipated. One thing to consider is that you shouldn’t ever let this wok sit in water, or the surface will react poorly and you will potentially lose the nonstick layer and have to start over. This is normal and to be expected with this material. It’s a great wok and it heats fast and efficiently. The wooden handle is made of a nice piece of acacia. Cleans up fast and easy. This wok is a beautiful addition to any kitchen.

I was able to make fried rice for my family without using the big bulky cheap pans. The pan was easy to clean and I was able to enjoy my family due to little cleaning time. Definitely would recommend this pan.
