Beauty and functionality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a person that cooks at least 5 days a week, efficiency in the kitchen is crucial. This pan really impressed me on how quickly it heats up (no need to cook on high to reach hot temperatures). Has a great weight to it (not to heavy but heavy enough) and the handle is seriously beautiful and ergonomic. Beautiful to display and an actually functional, non-stick pan as shown in the video.

Durable and reliable wok!

Even Heat and stick Free

Great design, size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan has a good design. The wood handle looks good but you can't put it in the oven because of it. Its great to evenly fry because of the material it's made of. It heats evenly and fries evenly. The size is good for small portions so it's a great frying pan for singles or couples. Not too heavy and because of the size it's easier to store.

Lightweight and heats up quickly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nicely packaged and quickly shipped! This was my first time using carbon steel so I didn’t know quite what to expect.
Compared to cast iron, this heats up very quickly, especially on my gas stove. It is also much lighter in weight! I have used the pan three times so far, once for grilled cheese and twice for eggs. With the grilled cheese, the pan was almost too hot for it, even on a lowish setting. The rim of the bread burned before the rest of the sandwich could toast.
The eggs, on the other hand, turned out perfectly each time! Only complaint is due to the small size, it was a little hard to flip them. This is definitely a pan for 1-2 people and not suitable for family meals.
The wooden handle stayed cool despite being close to the flames, but as others have mentioned, the downside is you can’t put it in the oven. The pan itself develops some discoloring after cooking, which I guess may be true of carbon steel. Not a big deal - just something to be mindful if you’re used to using teflon pans.
Overall, I think this is a good pan if you are leery of using teflon. The price point is higher than I would typically spend on such a small pan, but I appreciate receiving this from Influenster in exchange for my honest feedback!

Some small imperfections but overall a great frying pan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carbon steel frying pan appears to be a high quality frying pan that performs well. It is attractive with a sleek black look and a wooden handle that looks classy and is functional in keeping a comfortable and cool grip as you use the pan to cook. The pan did have some cosmetic imperfections on the cooking surface which I assume may just be the non-stick coating possibly being a bit uneven. After the pan was washed and used a bit, the marks did appear to become less visible. However the first impression look at the pan was not the best due to these imperfections. I'm not sure whether I just got unlucky or if this is or something that is common with these pans. Over time though it shouldn't be much of an issue. In terms of cooking performance, it appears to work quite well. Heating takes around the same time as my other pans but it does seem to have a nice even temperature throughout which helps with consistency. The non-stick properties work fantastic and make cooking and cleaning afterwards enjoyable. Overall this is a very nice pan with some minor cosmetic inconsistencies.

Great Quality Pan

It’s super non stick, heats up quick and evenly, and is a good weight (not too heavy but durable and solid). The wood handle really makes it look nice. It’s easy to clean and also works with my spare induction burner. Definitely recommend.
