Got a great deal on this unit. Very easy to set up and runs quiet considering it's an air conditioner. Would definitely recommend.

Fast cooling and heating, easy installation

I bought this to replace a less powerful model without heat. Works great. Heats quickly. Cools quickly. My window size is between the small exhaust panel and the smallest width of the additional extension panel, but if I had a saw it wouldn't be an issue. Occasionally in the hottest weather with direct sun the AC cannot keep up in 440 Sqft attic room of an older house with little insulation, but still keeps temperatures down to a reasonable level. This unit is quieter than my previous one, and many other portable and window units I have been around, but certainly not noiseless. The dehumidifier is not for extremely humid conditions, an extra dehumidifier is recommended if humidity is an issue. All in all a good portable unit for the price and worth the extra if you need heat as well.

Why a review submission before registration?

Just purchased the unit. Too soon to post a review, but initial observation and set up provided comfort in that the unit is what I was looking for. I’m merely trying to register the product, but instead I’ve been forwarded to leaving a review (weird). Why click a link for warranty when it takes you to posting a review on a product that was just unpackaged?
Anyway, once this way too early review posts maybe I’ll be forwarded to a warranty page to register the product.
P.S. the ratings provided are generic as I can’t rate a product for its use, durability and cost without using it first.
Also, I’m forced to click “yes” under the “did you receive an incentive for this review?” I didn’t, but I was forced to select it to proceed through the process to see if I can register the product. Guess I can’t be honest and just select “no”.

Ordered for our guest room that we just can't get cool enough. It did the job and our guests were more than comfortable. The only complaint was too noisy but only complained the first night.
