It's easy to use, lighter weight than other irons I've owned, and it has several settings for various types of fabrics. It does lack so of the bells and whistles found on higher priced irons, but it works for getting wrinkles out, so I say it's a keeper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes, the old way is the best. I have actually had this model of iron, before. It's reliable, heats up quickly, and glides well over the clothing. My old iron is really old, so receiving this was very fortuitous.

Nice and heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feels like the good, old irons from the past--the time when irons really worked. Just the registration process was a pain, asking for information (serial number!) that did not exist. Also, I called the company to ask how much water it holds (NOTHING in the manual, believe it or not!) and was told 1/4 cup to 2 cups... Obviously the person who answered had no clue what she was talking about: the iron holds 1/4 cup.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Classic Black & Decker iron is the best! I have been married 43 years & I only use this iron. The last one I had lasted 9 years! If you iron weekly like I do, this is the best iron to use. Thank you Black & Decker for making a great product!
