Heirloom Iron still amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the same as the old GE (General Electric) iron manufactured and used since the 1950s and 1960s. It is the iron used in the household I grew up in. It is important for an iron to have weight and steam and an accurate temperature dial. This iron delivers and is worth every penny and is preferable to all others. Make sure you get one and keep it. It is an heirloom iron. I like to sew, quilt, and iron to achieve accurate patchwork piecing. I also like clothing that is well ironed to look my best.

Good but is not anti-drip

Even if the water reservoir isn't full, it still sloshes water out of the water fill opening. There should be a plug or guard so that the water doesn't slosh out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the feel of this Iron! Not heavy and does the job! I love that it has an automatic shut off button so even if you forget to turn it off, you have a peace of mind. The steam setting is awesome - gets those stubborn wrinkles out! The different temperature setting is a needed feature to ensure your clothes get ironed correctly. Would definitely recommend getting this steam iron!
