Great Iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this iron to try in return of my honest opinion. At first glance the iron is a bit on the heavier side. It works very well. Gets hot quick, doesn't burn the clothes and does a great job removing the wrinkles. Has a bunch of different settings as well. Can use with or without steam which comes in handy with certain materials. However, it was a bit difficult getting the water in without making a mess. Something that was quickly fixed by using a water bottle to fill it up. Overall a great iron. Would definitely recommend.

Retro look, modern functionality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've noticed several different electronics now going towards the retro design. Black and Decker is no different, but it definitely works! The traditional steam iron has all the retro design, but still all the modern functionality we know and love. It's simple and easy to use; simply fill with water and within less than a minute, the steam iron is ready to use. It does a great job keeping my clothes ironed and professional. Of note, the iron is a little heavier than the irons I've seen now, but this isn't necessarily a con. I do like to have a little heft to my appliances simply because it feels more durable and higher quality. There are no unnecessary features or gimmicks; it's simply well made and efficient. I highly recommend this iron to anyone looking for a well made, efficient iron that wants a little retro design.

Good but not great iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iron worked, as it should, but was not as refined as it might be. There is no indicator for the water level in the water tank and the iron frequently rests on the cord when placed in its rest position. It seems to do reasonable well as an iron but the convenience features are not what they could be.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great, but....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Black and Decker The Classic™ Traditional Steam Iron is a very nice iron. It heats up quickly and it works great. It is easy to fill the water tank for the steam, it easy to turn the steam on & off. It has a green light on the side to let you know when it is ready and a red light, to let you know it is heating up. It is a little heavier than my other iron, but I don't mind since I find it very easy to use. It also has a nice long cord. My only complaint is that the dial plate moves when trying to set the temperature, which then makes it so you cannot move the dial very far. You can see in my video that it will only go so far, unless you hold the plate from turning with the dial. So for that I am giving it a 3 star, otherwise I would have given it a 5 star, because it is overall is a nice iron.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great classic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Classic/traditional iron. This is a simple, heavy duty, easy to use iron. It features auto shut off as well as red and green lights for on and off as well as easy numerical settings and an on/off steam button. My only complaint is that you aren’t able to see the water levels when you are filling it up. Other than that, everything else is a plus. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a classic iron.

Easy to use

Like the way that the weight of the iron helps remove wrinkles. It's heavy but easy to use to get into small creases, just what I need. The steam feature is also easy to use and remove wrinkles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is very elegant and brings back childhood memories when my Dad use to iron clothes using the heavy steel iron. This looks exactly the same but lighter and more efficient. Ironing clothes with this iron is very easy. I really like how light the iron is.
