Great, Classic Steam Iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron reminds me of the one I bought years ago and it works just as well. I filled with water to use steam function, it doesn't take long to heat up and a green light comes on to let me know it's heating and light goes off when ready. I like the easy read temperature guide right below handle. The weight of the iron seems to do all the work, I just have to guide it. The auto-shut off is important in case the iron is not turned off. Another feature I like is the extra long cord.

Better than your mother's old fashioned iron

My old iron had went kaput about a year ago, and I needed to replace my iron. This iron is better than your mother's iron. It has the traditional steam function, that gives sharp creases like any good iron. But it is so much lighter, has different heat program cycles, and is the perfect size to get things done without giving your arm a workout. I wanted a real iron, that produced the same results as the old fashioned heavier models, but this is so much better. It is functional, practical, and gets the job done. I find myself using the iron frequently, as opposed to occasionally like I did before. This is a keeper, and one that I highly recommend.

Traditional Steam Iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is an updated version of a classic steam iron. You can iron with steam or dry iron. There is a no drip feature which is my favorite because my old irons would drip most of the time. I love the different heat settings and the iron plates glide smoothly over clothes without tugging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron reminds me of the iron that my mom used when I was growing up. I learned how to iron with a iron like this. This is not a fancy iron with tons of bells and whistles and that is great. It does what it needs to do and it does it well. It is not made of cheap plastic like so many irons these days. Instead, it is heavy and solid. It feels like a heavy duty iron that will last a long time. I like the heft of it because I feel like it is less likely to tip over when I am using it. It is heavy but not uncomfortably so. It feels sturdy in your hand when you are using it. It glides easily over clothing and works very well removing wrinkles from more heavy duty materials like denim. The iron heats up very quickly and is ready to use in no time. It has simple, non-complex controls on it. The steam function works well and doesn't drip or spit out hot water while using it. I would highly recommend this iron to anyone that wants a simple, easy to use, sturdy iron.
