Love the retro look!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Black & decker's Classic Traditional Steam Iron is the perfect blend of a retro look with modern convenience. I love that this iron is not too heavy and the handle feels good in my hand. It is easy to use, with plenty of steam to quickly smooth out wrinkles from my husband's dress shirts. The fabric guide printed right on the iron makes it so easy to pick the proper heat setting for clothing. Having a cord that swivels makes the iron easy to manipulate. The retro look of this iron is awesome - it looks nearly identical to the one my grandmother used, which is a fun treat. Definitely an iron that is built to last, making this a product to be used for years to come.

Perfectly Ironed

The Black & Decker Classic Traditional Steam Iron has been quite helpful in accomplishing my ironing chores. It is very easy to fill up with water and it has many settings for different types of fabric. Most of my ironing is cotton material so I choose the setting for that most often & unlock the steam button. It heats up very quickly and has automatic shutoff which is a very nice feature. You can also use this iron for dry ironing by locking the steam button. I appreciate that it is a heavier duty iron and has a classic look but with many upgrades.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It comes with everything a basic iron needs with class. It heats up quickly and i love the no drip feature for when I iron with steam! It has automatic shut off which is great with kids around. I love how easy it is to use no hard complicated buttons to figure out just plain and simple .

Bulky and leaky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is heavier than I expected. I was hoping I could use it vertically on a sheet that I've hung up over my storage shelves. Well, it was quite annoying. First off, it's really hard to see how far you've filled the iron with water. I used a measuring cup because I didn't want to fill it directly under the faucet. It overflowed the first time I filled it because I had no idea how much I needed to pour. There's also no cover to close it so if you tip it a bit, water spills out. It worked slightly and briefly vertically, but it just stopped steaming altogether unless I held it horizontally to the floor. So, I couldn't steam the sheet properly. I just kept spilling water.
The weight of the iron is quite annoying. Don't expect to steam too many items or else your hand will hurt. I don't recommend using it vertically like I wanted and needed. When the steam did come out, it did work pretty well.
There really needs to be a cap to keep the water in the iron. I spilled a lot of water and it was really frustrating. Overall, I wasn't a fan of this iron.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a great iron and the steam feature works great on my work clothes. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the "retro" look but it's actually great quality and much nicer looking than the plastic iron I have used for years. My plastic iron is now in the donation box and I will only be using this iron moving forward! I highly recommend this product!!!!
