[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the classic retro styling of this iron! It heats up quickly and has enough weight to it to iron even my most wrinkled cotton blouses. The auto-off is a very convenient feature. The steam function seems to work pretty well and it doesn't leak or drip. I like that this has basic easy-to-use settings. It has everything you need in an iron!
I would recommend this to a friend!

came in the other week with his work clothes. He wanted some of his work clothes ironed. I must say it worked great. It heated up real quick and pressed so precise. I love it. Having this iron I don’t mind at all to iron.

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very disappointed with this iron. After removing it from the box I noticed that the soleplate had a lot of discoloration and the top tip area looked like it had been rubbed with steel wool or something abrasive. I took a soft damp cloth and wiped down the soleplate but the stains remained. I also noticed that the heel rest was rough and the metal was flaking off. This iron doesn't glide smoothly over fabric like most irons. This iron does get wrinkles out of your garments but it does take going over it a few times. I hate the auto shutoff after 30 seconds because when you adjust whatever it is you are ironing such as a shirt, by the time you go back to the iron it has already shut off and started to cool down. This iron is very heavy and if you have a lot of ironing to do your hand will start to hurt due to the fact that it doesn't glide over your fabric I also found that the temperature selector lever is so tight it is hard to turn. There is also not a constant or consistent flow of steam which is probably why it takes a few passes over the fabric to remove any wrinkles. When the iron is resting upright on the heel rest the cord prevents it from sitting right and the cord tends to bend and the iron seems unstable. One positive thing I can say is that it doesn't leak water onto whatever it is that you are ironing. I do not recommend this iron.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love this iron. This is a classic. I love the steam and it don’t get clogged. My clothes came so nice like a professional dry cleaners. I highly recommend The Classic Traditional Steam Iron by Black and Decker. It’s not heavy it slides so easy. I love it. It makes ironing easy.
