[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my family’s first experience with a juice extractor. We make smoothies a lot with a standard blender and have always wanted to try a juicer… enter the Black & Decker 400 watt Juice Extractor. Out of the box I like the compact size, not too bulky and doesn’t take up too much counter space. Seems very straight forward to use, only an ON/OFF switch and no complicated settings to figure out. The unit is easy to assemble for use, there are only a few parts that fit together easily and lock into place. Once we had it assembled we plugged it in and were ready to go! We then cut and prepared some fruits and veggies to try out. We are pleased at how simple it is to use… just turn the unit on and feed the pieces into the top feed chute and pushing them down with the chute feeder piece… and tada instant juice! As the juice comes out of the spout into the handy measuring cup that’s included all the pulp gets discarded into the waste bin on the side. The only thing I would say could be better is the size of the feed chute opening on top, it’s smaller than some of the other juicers on the market and requires you to cut the pieces smaller, but certainly not a deal breaker. The juice that comes out is delicious and pulp free. We are deciding how to utilize our waste pulp rather than just discard it… I’ve heard it can be dried and used as potpourri or used in composting. All-in-all this little unit is a great introduction to juicing for the modern family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First juicer I have ever owned but man is it useful and powerful. Some veggies I cut up into smaller pieces but it handles everything well and I feel like this is helping to lead a more nutritional diet and that is so valuable. It has never stuttered or stalled and everything comes over well. I would highly recommend.

This is a nice size, not too small and not too bulky. The opening is a little small in my opinion, but I don't really have much to compare it to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This juicer is so easy to use. The manuel is very thorough. It is easy to take apart and clean and put back together. I wish it would have came with a recipe book but you can always Google some. Overall very powerful and a great size.

Great for first timers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This juicer was fairly simple to use for someone who has never used a juicer before. It was easy to clean up after using. It did a good job of removing the pulp, which I can’t stand in my juice! It is a little on the loud side, and can move around on the counter a bit. But other that that, I was pleased with what it had to offer. It’s nice having the option of drinking fresh juice, vs store bought bottles of juice.
