Dissembling issue

I recently purchased this item and can’t remove the pulp separator. I have searched for a video so I can get a visual but have had no luck. Please help!

Thank you for offering your feedback regarding your Black+Decker JE2400BD. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been having difficulty removing the pulp separator. To remove the pulp separator, grip the pulp separator on both sides through the half-round cut outs above the latches. With the cutter/strainer in place, pull up on the pulp separator while pushing downwards on the main body of the juice extractor. Excellent Juicer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this juicer awhile back and I have to say I love it and it is a great little juicer. It is a nice shiny black which goes with everything and has a clear see through lid. It is the perfect size for my kitchen and it is very quite and very lightweight. It does a fantastic job at juicing all my fruits and vegetables so I get to have fresh clean juice whenever I please. It has a great 400w power motor and is easy to clean. If your looking for a great juicer give this one a try.

We can’t remove the pulp separator. Any suggestions? Step 4 in the manual.

Was great until it wouldn't turn on

I'm so upset, i love this juicer and have only had a few months. I take great care of and handwash after every use. All of a sudden i went to make a juice with all my vegetables washed and ready and juicer won't turn on. I tried multiple outlets, reset my electric breaker and its the juicer that's got the problem. looks like the engine died and i did not keep my receipt or manual. Really unhappy with this purchase as I've had less than a year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great product, perfect for me

One feature is it is slightly smaller than others so it sits well on my counter, another is that it is easy to use as well as cleanup so it makes my life easier when im struggling to do what i can with 3 kids.
