Very efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this blender because it just seems easier to handle the blender chore of any recipe. It has smaller pieces which makes for quicker set up and clean up. It's every bit of loud as any other blender. I would trust my children to help in the kitchen with this blender because it is not heavy and has large visible measurements on the side.

Somewhat disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I currently own a 20+ year old blender...it works great but I was hoping the smoothie blender would create smooth and thick smoothies. When I first used it, it emitted a for lack of a better work, a burnt smell. Knowing that most brand new appliances emit similar odors, I assumed that would go away. It didn’t..in fact it for more intense.
My first batch of smoothies included frozen fruit. That was a bust. The smoothie was chunky and I needed to stop and stir the bottom frequently. The second batch was somewhat better in that I thawed the fruit however, it was runny and needed to be chilled to thicken up.
Really disappointed in that I was really hoping to be able to have a unit that I could make quality, creamy smoothies for the family in a fast efficient manner. I did encounter some leakage in the base of the unit. Unfortunately, I most likely would return this product.

Great Smoothie Maker!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how well the Hamilton Beach 10 Speed Wave Maker Blender works. It blends my smoothies and milkshakes so fast. The wave action is such a great feature, you don't need to stop the blender to scrape down the sides so everything gets blended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a good blender. The blade design works great for blending thoroughly, creating a strong downward circulation. It works great for smoothies and frozen drinks. The blade stays assembled to the pitcher for convenience. Cleans easier. Has 10 speeds for a wide range of blending.
The pitcher is plastic, but seems rather sturdy. Base is lightweight. Easy to operate.

Very easy to use and is safe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed about this blender is the extended bottom of the jar. I was wondering what the reason could be and when I realized that it doesn't require me to actually lock the jar into the machine, the extended bottom does it for me. It was really easy to use and blended my items very well. For my one of my recipes, I needed something ground and didnt see the grind function on this. I instead used the highest setting and although I got the results I needed, it required me to press and hold the button. That was my only complaint.
Other than that , powerful machine, easy to use and works beautifully.

Amazing for smoothies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This an overall excellent blender, but its biggest strong point is smoothies. There are very few, if any large chunks of ice after just a couple minutes of running. Could not be happier and would definitely recommend this product! I honestly could not find any cons to this unit. Unlike other blenders I've had this one is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I removed this blender from the box and got a look @ it, I knew I loved it! Thank goodness it is not just a pretty face but functions as well as it looks! From whipping up a healthy breakfast smoothie to creating any flavored hummus I desire dipping my veggies and chips into for lunch or an afternoon snack to crushing ice for an evening cocktail to pureeing delicious soups for dinner, this blender is the ideal partner. The wave maker technology makes constant scraping down the sides of the jar a thing of the past and everything is evenly processed. In case you can't tell, I love this blender and have a new candidate for best kitchen appliance!

Great blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my Wave blender everyday for a week and just love it. I’ve made malts, smoothies and on Sunday morning did my pancake batter with it. It blends so well and leaves no lumps. The blender pitcher is a solid unit and I was a little worried about cleaning without removing the blades, but it was very easy.
