2 gripes about the coffee maker

Gripe 1. It takes forever to brew a pot of coffee. It just drips into the pot, never a steady stream. Higher heat makes no difference.
Gripe 2. The lid that holds the water tube popped off first use. I had to use Gorilla tape to keep it on.
I bought this to use at Motul Petit Le Mans, 24 Hours at Daytona, Sebring and Camping in General. I can't believe Coleman makes such a shoddy product. My complaints are reflected in other reviews

We love the convenience of this coffee maker. We had the propane powered one but like this one better. We had to get another one because the carafe broke and we couldn’t get a replacement. If that could be a solution, in the future, that would be great!

Loved our first one we bought at a rummage and lasted for years...our new one lasted less than one year and melted in the strangest place by the basket

One of my "must haves" for my RV. If I'm somewhere with no power, no problem! I always have my coffee! Lasted for years and can't imagine being without it!

Got this to replace an old Percolator style coffee maker that we have had for years. After 4 days of use I haven't seen the melting on the bottom that has been noticed by other users but we also kept the flame on low as a precaution. But having a low flame makes it take awhile to brew. The only thing that i think would be good would be to have a metal Carafe and not glass due to it being used outdoors but again that is me being nit picky.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are an avid family of campers we bought this took it camping and used it on my coleman propane stove. I was super excited pulled from the box set it up and filled it walked away for about 15 mins to tend the fire and when I came back the handle to the carafe had melted. Coleman used to be the front runner to all my camping supplies but it seems like lately, that's not the case. I can't recommend a product I don't stand behind.
