Best Drip Coffee Away From Home!

Bought one for hunting camp years ago. Still going strong! Works with propane stove or Coleman fuel stove. Takes about as long as any drip coffee maker. Can't imagine "roughing it" without this coffee maker!

Works great but base weak

I have had 2 of these both the base got too hot and melted the aluminum. I maded a base out of stainless
Sheet metal and installed. Now it works better I can get it hot enough now to make coffee faster by turning up heat more and keep coffee warm by leaving cap in low on my stove to heat bottom.

Way easier and tastier than the french press. Takes a little longer to brew but has the pause feature which comes in handy. All over another great Coleman product!

Affordable not durable

The coffee maker works great unless you use it on the Coleman Hyperflame Camp stove, I've had 2 of them burn through the bottom now using my Hyperflame. Coleman does not offer replacment bottoms for this maker :(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like this coffee maker. Wish it was bigger tho. The work around will be an insulated carafe, so we can start another pot right after the first pot. Have only used it two times, but seems to be sturdy and makes good coffee.

We bought the camping drip coffee maker and after 7 months the carafe just shattered on the coffee maker. Does this happen often? And how can i get another one?

If you have a lot of other stuff to do around the campsite, do them. It takes around 45 minutes (yes, forty-five) to brew a pot of coffee. Any tips out there??
