Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I had a food saver and had my doubts about the vacuum on it. When I first tried this one out it gave me no problems and worked like it was supposed too. The vacuum pulled out the air from the food and made it tight then went into a seal process and it was done. Love foodsavers and it has saved me money in the long run

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How did I ever live without one of these before? Always used freezer bags to store my food before and while they worked well, I was missing out on so much! This thing not only seals air tight, but also will vacuum all the air out! We have stored meats for the freezer, chips, pasta, and even granola bars! The machine is simple, place the plastic on the bar, close it and press a button. It also comes with an attachment that works with Tupperware that is made specifically to be vacuum sealed. I dont own any of the Tupperware so I only use the bags, but no complaints here! By using this I noticed how much more stuff I can fit in my freezer and how it protects the food from being freezer burnt. I also love that you can either buy already sized bags to go with this or a roll of the plastic to make your own any sized bags for the food. I personally choose the roll as it makes more sense for my needs! This is seriously my new favorite kitchen gadget that I own as I buy all my food in bulk!

Keeps food fresh

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine can save you money over time, I don’t know how many times I have thrown freezer burnt food out. When I buy meat I always buy it in bulk because it is much cheaper and you can seal it with this vacuum sealer to prevent freezer burn and keep it fresher longer. You can also use it to seal bags of chips or anything that has a plastic wrapper. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to save money and quit wasting food.

I love that I can also put left overs and freeze it and not get ruin and stays fresh. Great food sealing system from searching to save money and time.

It comes with an attachment to use with resealable bags and containers, vacuums and seals quickly, and comes with a roll of plastic to make bags as well as some pre-made ones. I love using this machine to freeze leftovers to reheat later, marinate meats, and so much more. This machine saves time and money and everyone needs one!

A great food storage solution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If youre in the market for a vaccum sealer this is definitely one to consider. Food Saver is the main brand you think of for at home vaccum sealing for a reason. I have an older model and this works essentially the same but with a few design changes that help it work a little better. They changed the angle that you seal at and moved the slider/cutter and melting strip further up so you waste less plastic sealing. There would always be an extra inch when i did it with the older model. All in all this is a great way to extend shelf life of food and save you money and fridge/freezer space. Its also perfect for sous vide cooking.

The sealing system really does what it says and it definitely keeps food fresh for a longer time. This product comes with sealing bags. I love the vacuum sealing system! I recommend it.

to be honest, i cannot give a true/full review as the product stopped working mid it's first seal.
i do not think it's a result of a defective or low quality product, the box was pretty banged up when i received it.
as a whole it feels very sturdy and well built.
came with enough bags for several seals.
