Great hood vent

We are very happy with this hood vent. It comes with 2700k bulbs which are a lovely soft white. It works well to vent to the outside, and isnt terribly loud on lower settings. The high setting is louder, but the lower setting is usually powerful enough for our needs. Looks sleek and would buy again.

What a beautiful addition to my new kitchen. The IN-R100 - 30" / Stainless Steel is a powerful hood. now we can cook with no worries of having the whole house smell like food. Buy it with confidence.

Incredibly Efficient Range Hood

We installed this range in our new home with a custom wooden hood, and it’s been excellent so far. It’s powerful without being overly noisy, and it does a great job handling steam, smoke, and grease. We do a lot of our cooking on a cast-iron skillet, which can give off quite a bit of grease and steam, and this range keeps odors under control. The vent does need regular cleaning, but as long as you stay on top of it, it works like a charm.

This range hood worked exactly as we thought it would. Except for the 1/4” stainless edge it’s completely concealed inside our over range cabinet. It does take up the entire cabinet but easily connected to our existing exhaust ducting. Unfortunately it was damaged in shipping but Hauslane shipped us a replacement quickly.

Ductless hood installation

I’ll start by saying that this low-profile range hood was exactly what I wanted, and works the it’s supposed to. I suspect if you are vented to the outside, it could be an easy installation. I needed a ductless install; so, this review is directed to you in the hopes it gives you some guidance up front.
My cabinets are 15” high and 12” deep. While technically the IN-R100 fits into a 12” cabinet, it just barely fits in, and does not allow space for tile or other backsplash. If you can, the ideal would be 13” depth cabinets. My IN-R100 is right up against the back wall, so the tile will have to overlap it.
Although it can be installed ductless, keep in mind that the air will need to vent somewhere. While the unit itself is only about 9” high, the vent opening is 6” in diameter, and so needs much more than the 5” of space that I had remaining in the cabinet in order to be able to clear the flexible aluminum duct. We ended up going into the ceiling above the cabinet to run the duct to vent on the other side of my cabinets.
So, while I love the IN-R100, it does require some serious planning IN ADVANCE of ordering your cabinets if you are installing it in a location that is not vented straight up to the outside. I ended up spending almost as much for the installation as the unit cost because of the complex installation. But the finished look is clean and efficient.

My beautiful new kitchen

Absolutely love the design. Exactly as I envisioned in my new kitchen. Sleek and hidden under cabinet with nothing sticking out. The fan suction is very strong, lights are very bright. Only thing is getting it vented outside from my previous hood and hole is a little difficult. We still have more to make it fit and work properly. My cabinet salesmen had never seen this and even they love it. Satisfied with this purchase. Also very well made sturdy construction!
