Typed the sku number on the battery on the HP store website and it said to buy this battery instead. It doesn't fit in the laptop, it is not the correct battery.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

6 Cell Battery

The battery is doing quite well and even though I turned down the 12 cell battery, for me the choice was well done. The cost was a bit high, but I limited myself to not looking around for a better price on the battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!

HP dv 6000 battery life

The notebook is great. I have never had a problem with it from day one: however, the battery will give me at best---2 1/2 to 3 hours. This is unexceptical of course.
Please, HP, your excellent company can do better then this.

this battery life is short and have to recharge it every hour. just bought laptop. but battery holds charge for an hour, need a replacment battery that is better

Nice 6 cell battery

The overall performance of the 6 cell battery is pretty outstanding holds very well in high performance mode. But it's a standard battery so not expecting a whole lot :))

The product is the proper one but I should have read the other reviews before purchasing. It does not appear to hold a charge and is considered to be unsatisfactory. Beware
