The best soundbar ive owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works perfectly with my Samsung TV it sounds amazing, I love how easy it is to connect my Samsung phone to it as well to listen to music with Bluetooth i just tap the top of the soundbar with my phone and itll connect. The surround effects are top tier with this sound bar makes movies sound like your at a theater. I love it

Great sound, very poor usability, sound cuts out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good - For years I a receiver/surround system with large front speakers. The sound was excellent but I decided it was time to simplify my setup, and after a lot of research ended up with the Q990D. I have a Samsung Smart TV, Dish Network Hopper 3, and an Xbox Series X. Setup was easy, with the Xbox to HDMI 1 and the Hopper to HDMI 2. Sound is excellent. Front sound may be slightly less quality than with standalone front speakers but it’s barely noticeably. And surround sound from rears is noticeably better. Very pleased with the sound quality.
The bad - initial setup with Alexa was easy, you could just say “change soundbar to HDMI 1”. It was so convenient! Stopped working after an update.
So you have to use the remote. Well to go from HDMI 2 to 1 you have to press the source repeatedly through all of the options that aren’t even hooked up (WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.). And frequently it says “HDMI 1”, but doesn’t switch to it, switching back to 2. So you go through the list again. All I need is HDMI 1 and 2. You should be able to just press source once to toggle between them.
Then there’s the issue where the sound occasionally cuts off. It’s primarily when fast forwarding when watching Dish Network. The picture is there but the sound cuts out. You have to turn off the soundbar, then back on. Then rewind Dish to hear the sound you missed. That solves it every time, but very frustrating.
So do I recommend it? Yes, but only if you want great sound that’s frustrating to use.

Great sound from all speakers. Clear surround sound. Extra points for dolby atmos and dts:x option. For a soundbar, you cant ask or get better than this. Im happy with this and would recommend .

Perfect Soundbar for My Neo QLED TV

At first the, subwoofer would not connect to Bluetooth and I had to bring the entire system back to UPS to ship to Samsung. After getting it repaired, I haven’t had any trouble with Bluetooth. The sound fills the room, especially at higher volumes . My only criticism is the rear satellites are rather muted. Even set to surround mode and/or manually raising the levels they just don’t have a lively sound, but are serviceable. This will never reach the quality of dedicated powered speakers, but the smaller footprint, no speaker cabales and decent sound make it ideal for my living space
