[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had at least 4 other nice Samsung soundbars and not even any of those could they come close to do what this bad boy does . Closes one had to this Samsung bar was a LG one and it was my first dolby atmos soundbar and it was their flagship also but it couldn't hold nothing close to the samsung soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This system is exactly what we wanted. The Q990D with satellite 📡 speakers for the rear. The sound is incredible. Our room is 17x11 and is incredible. The sub in the corner on the floor the center (surround) bar hung on the wall under the 75" Samsung TV, satellite 📡 speakers level on stands behind the couch or our right & left. Amazing sound. All of the options are what we were looking for. For us we didn't need to upgrade to the (E) or (F) model. Impressed with this unit. Also I used to be an audiophile, the total surround speakers all over the room the big powerful Onkyo receiver etc. this thing isn't bulky like the old systems and has incredible sound and clear just what we were looking for. I have a friend that is a surround sound geek and does this for a living over 20 years and recommended this system.. so glad I changed over to this instead of the "Old style ". Good job Samsung. I also appreciate the "Military 🎖️ Discount". Supporting your Veterans ❤️💯. That goes a LONG way with me!!

Best soundbar I've ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had countless number of soundbars throughout my life but this is one soundbar that gives me a very clear dialogue and makes Dolby Atmos worth it. I'm already thinking of buying two more for my sibling's and parent's room.

I like it but the bass on mine is poor, should be ground shaking judging by it size but almost non existent even streaming music

We appreciate you taking a few moments to review the Samsung HW-Q990D Soundbar.
There are multiple ways to control the bass levels for your new Soundbar.
1) Using the WOOFER button on the provided Soundbar remote. Use the woofer button by pushing forward or pulling backward on the button itself to adjust the bass levels between -12 or -6/+6. If you want to reset the bass to 0 then push the button in.
2) When you press the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the treble or bass levels between -6/+6.
Alternatively, you can adjust all of these same settings and more within the SmartThings app. Download the app for your iOS or Android device and then connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. From here, you will be able to adjust all of the same settings as the provided remote, but with the added benefit of being able to see the changes on your smart device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound bar was too long for my setup. It's stuck out wider than the tv. Ended up returning this and decided to go with bookshelf speakers and a standard receiver.

It took me about 30 minutes to complete everything. After that, I was really impressed with the sound quality — it feels like being in a real theater, but right at home. I’m very happy with the quality and the price of this product.
Now I use it every single day.

I have it coupled with my 85" Samsung TV and use the Q Symphony. I love it so much that I will slowly be replacing my other TV/Soundbars with the same set up, just with different size TVs
