Great soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got the Samsung HW-Q990D soundbar (the 11.1.4 ch Q-series with Dolby Atmos and rear speakers) and it absolutely blew me away. Setup was super easy—everything connected wirelessly, including the rear speakers and subwoofer, and it synced with my Samsung TV instantly thanks to Q-Symphony. Didn’t have to mess around with cables or menus much at all.
The sound is incredible. Like, theater-level good. The Atmos effect is legit—feels like sound is coming from all around and even above. Explosions, rain, voices, all sound super clear and immersive. The sub hits deep and clean without being too boomy, and the rear speakers actually pull their weight, which hasn’t always been the case with other systems I’ve tried.
Movies and shows are a whole different experience now, but where it really surprised me is music—so full and crisp, even at low volume. Gaming sounds amazing too, with clear directional audio. Q-Symphony working with my Samsung TV just takes it to another level—TV and soundbar speakers working together really fill the room.
Looks great too—clean, modern design that fits right under the TV. Honestly, if you want one of the best soundbars out there with real surround and killer Atmos, this is it. Totally worth the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just wow, I had no idea on how detail I've been missing out on over the years. I had a Q600B with rears as my main sound for watching movies in my living room. Recently I purchased the Q990D, and this thing is huge, the rears are twice as big compared to the ones I had before. I can hear voices clearly, birds in the background I have never heard before. Example, I was watching 1917 and in the scene a quarter into movie where the plane flies over head, I promise you it really did feel and sound like it was flying over head. Best purchase I have ever made.

The audio quality is rich, the bass absolutely hits, and your neighbors will hate you in the best way possible. Do yourself a favor and don't settle for less!
